The operation, according to the report started at about 9.00pm at the busy Waterlines bus stop and was said to have continued through the night.
The report also said that vehicles in Nigerian Army colour, pasted with JTF logo and filled with armed men in police and army uniforms with JTF insignia were seen moving suspects claiming loudly to be task-force members of the Road Transport Workers Union to yet to be ascertained locations.
The report further indicated that the operation is believed to be connected with the recent kidnap of the House of Representative member, representing Khana/Gokana federal constituency, Mr. Emmanuel Deeyah in Bori town near Port Harcourt by yet unknown gunmen.
