By Citizen Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha
The battle has been fought, the good people of Imo State through the grace of Almighty God have elected Owelle Rochas Ethelberth Anayochukwu Okorocha as the governor of Imo State from 29th May 2011 to 29th May 2015. Imo people with Joy and Happiness are expecting the following from His Excellency:

(2)There is need to accord respect to our elders in Imo State. The era of “Un – gubernatorial” Speeches should now be over
(3) The poor masses whose economic activities and personal properties were illegally destroyed by the Ohakim leadership should be compensated.
(4) Imo citizens who are illegally languishing in prisons custody as a result of their criticisms of the Ohakim’s leadership should be released.
(5) He should remind the presidency, EFCC, ICPC, Code of Conduct Bureau, Office of the Inspector general of police, Police Service Commission etc,  to make public their investigations on Ikedi Ohakim.
(6)He should set up a panel of inquiry that will look into how Ikedi Ohakim defrauded Imo State of several billions of naira through Chief Tony Chukwu using Oceanic Bank.
(7) Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha should look into all the so called projects which Ikedi Ohakim claims that he is building or built.
(8)He should dissolve the local government councils in Imo State and replace same with care-taker committees for three months only before conducting local government elections.
(9)The panel of inquiry should invite Ikedi Ohakim to explain why he spent over N31.5 billions extra – budgetary expenditure outside the approved budgetary expenditure without the consent of the Imo State House of Assembly between 2009 and 2010.
(10)The Federal Government should order the seizure of Ikedi Godson Ohakim’s international passport and other travel documents.
(11)The governor – elect must begin to assert himself immediately he is sworn – in on the 29th of May 2011. The likes of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, Prince Lemmy Akakem, Dr.(Mrs)  Kema Chikwe, Chief Tony Chukwu, HRH Eze (Dr.) Cletus .I. Ilomuanya, HRH Eze (Dr.) Emmanuel Njemanze, HRH Eze (Dr) Chijioke Okwara, Dr. J C Oduma, Dr (Mrs) Gloria Chukwukere, Chief (Mrs) Rose Emenike etc, are advised to stay away from this People Oriented Government before they corrupt it. PDP, ACN and other party leaders who betrayed their governorship candidates are also to stay away from the Rochas Okorocha government.
