Umeh: APGA National Chairman |
By Citizen Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha.
All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh held a secret meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan in the early hours of today 5th May 2011 in Abuja. The topic of their discussion according to a trusted source from the Presidency is on how to trade away his party’s victory during the governorship election held on the 26th of April 2011, and the forth coming “supplementary” election on the 6th of May 2011 in four LGAs in Imo State. Also there are fears that the APGA governorship candidate, Owelle Rochas Okorocha might be pressured from the Presidency with heavy inducement to abandon his struggle for the governorship seat of Imo State which the people of state has already given him.
Meanwhile, Mr Ikedi Ohakim is pumping state funds in the four LGAs (Oguta, ohaji/Egbema, Ngor-Okpala and Mbaitoli) where the supplementary election would take place tomorrow. So far, an estimated N850Million of State funds have been wasted in the exercise. Ikedi Ohakim has also imposed curfew on the four LGAs. The police and the military men in Imo State are also involved in the electoral fraud going on in Imo State. Tomorrow’s election is already compromised.
The National Chairman of INEC, Professor Attahiru Jega would leave the shores of Nigeria on Sunday 8th of May 2011. He has already recalled all his staff from Imo and has handed over all electoral matters to one Mr. Ishmael Igbani who is President Goodluck Jonathan’s right hand man.
The process will be administered by field staff from Rivers State and Ebonyi State .
