Eight Boko Haram members who tried to bomb a market in Maiduguri, capital
city of Borno state were today killed by the Joint Taskforce on security,
famously known as JTF.
Eye witnesses told chidi opara reports that the Boko Haram members engaged
the JTF in a shootout, but was outgunned by the military dominated security
outfit.
Witnesses also informed that some
wounded civilians have been taken to hospital, our network members reported
that the scene of the shootout have been condoned off by operatives of JTF.
Bomb experts within JTF, reportedly detonated bombs which the killed
jihadists could not detonate.
