Mr. Steve Ebo A Renowned Nollywood celebrity  Mr. Steve Ebo, Popularly known as Ajebo, was yesterday appointed the Artistic Director for this year’s Akaraka Lectures and Awards for the 9th Most Beautiful Igbo Girl Cultural Pageant Scheduled to hold in November,2013. The Adandiigbo Cultural pageant is a Non Swimsuit cultural Pageant that changed the face of pageantry in Nigeria in  2005  when Ndidiamaka Nwakwu, now Mrs Ndidiamaka Mbonu, beat other contestants to emerge the Most Beautiful Igbo Girl also known as the Adandiigbo. The current title holder, Ogwueleka Chidalu, a pharmacy Student at the Agulu Campus of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University would be expected to handover to a new queen come November ,2013 . The registration for this year’s Pageant is on www.Adandiigbo.com  This prestigious cultural pageant sparked off a chain of success stories and carved a niche in a new, previously unexplored Ethnic and cultural pageantry trend .The Pageant for the first time in the country rotated its coverage amongst the South South and South East States in its search for the Most beautiful, brainy and culturally aware  girl child within the Igbo nation . The Pageant only took leave to visit Lagos and hold its 3rd edition at the prestigious Balmorals Event Place in Ikeja in 2007. The Pageant Organizers have over the last eight years ensured quality and accountability as they have repeatedly employed the best Hands in the industry to maintain the model of a New and  popular  trend in Pageantry .Culture and Language has in recent years been encouraged amongst the Igbo youths as the dangerous trend of youth not understanding their language and culture has been a source of concern to United Nations The Akaraka Lectures and awards has always been a unique aspect of the Ada Ndi Igbo Pageant and all recipients over the years have moved on  to become Nationally acclaimed individuals .This year the focus has expanded to include the larger society and the Girls from Igbo land  would be expected to vote according to their  consciences on whom they have known to excel in the categories open for the Event.   Mr Steve Ebo, a onetime AGN Vice President stated that he was set to ensure a  transparent exercise, .He called on great and enterprising Nigerians  to vote according to their consciences. as the voting lines would soon be made public .
