News Report: Imo State Assembly Speaker’s Aide “Resigns”

Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly; Mr. Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha has reportedly resigned his appointment yesterday, the 17th of December 2013.

Information made available to chidi opara reports indicated that 
Iwuoha’s Resignation was as a result of “intrigues in the Office of the Speaker”. Contacts however, insist that Mr. Iwuoha was removed.

The Speaker’s former aide reportedly threatened recently to expose corrupt political appointees in the Rochas Okorocha administration.

Mr. Iwuoha also reportedly in a letter to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajimogu, accused the speaker’s Chief of Staff, one Kelechi Anamekwe, of corruption.

chidi opara reports also learned that on account of the letter to the Speaker, Mr. Iwuoha was issued a query, which he promptly responded to. The response was said to have been loaded with expose on corruption in the Office of the Speaker.

A contact close to Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha has hinted that the former aide will give “full details of corrupt practices going on in the Office of the Speaker”.

Mr. Iwuoha came into prominence during the administration of Ikedi Ohakim, when the then Governor allegedly detained and assaulted Mr. Iwuoha in the Governor’s Office, the uproar generated by the former governor’s action, elevated Mr. Iwuoha, to political prominence.
