U-Report: Soldiers Killed One, Injured 4 Shi’ites In Kaduna

Monday around 4.45 pm, armed soldiers stormed Kaduna Markaz, residence of the Ameer of the Kaduna zone of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, opened fire and killed one, 2 injured.

The soldiers in a while Hilux van with their commandant named Captain Sene stormed the residence and arrested one Brother who told them it was restricted residential area, not passage of vehicles.
Having released the Brother, the Captain Sene shot the three Brothers at close range and left the area.

The soldiers in another Hilux van, Operation Yaki, took strategic positions at the roundabout leading to the Markaz.

One of the Members of the Islamic movement who met the soldiers and demanded what lead to the shooting but they said nothing happened.

When he demanded to speak with their commander, they said, “You cannot speak with anyone”.

He told them that I was going to write what I saw, one of the soldiers said: “Go and write anything you want”.

The Islamic Movement member killed is Umar Abubakar. while those injured are: Sani Yusuf, Auwal Ahmad, Lado Abubakar and Ayyuba Jibril.

it could be recalled that today the army depot commander in Zaria deployed soldiers to impose an unlawful and illegal curfew in the metropolis. Traders in Sabon Gari are being asked to close shops and go home.
