Dr. Oramah

took office in 2005.
Dr. Oramah,

President of the African Development Bank, and Christopher Edordu, the pioneer
President of Afreximbank, will, on 20 September, participate in a panel
discussion on, “The implications of building a global multilateral Exim bank”.

Africa, as moderator.
Afreximbank
also plans to mount an exhibition of the Bank’s products and services,
including archive photographs, historical documents and art works.
The
foundation stone for the nine-floor Afreximbank Headquarters Building was laid
on 18 December 2003 and construction completed in 2010. Afreximbank began the
use of the building on 10 November 2010 but decided to put off the formal
inauguration until a convenient date was identified.
