An official of the Committee on the creation of Ogoja State, Barrister Leonard Ayogu has confirmed the death of Brigadier-General Anthony Ukpo.
Ukpo chaired the Committee on the creation of Ogoja State and was a Military Administrator Of Rivers State, as well as an Information Minister in the Babangida military regime.
Ukpo died on at the early hours of Monday, September 6th, 2021.
